About the Warm-Up
Michael McAmmond will be guiding tonight’s warmup, leaning on the support of several years of experience with Contact improvisation as well as various other movement practices. The theme of the warm-up will be “listening to support” and will be focusing on listening to our partner, whether the partner is the floor, ourselves or another body.

Event Etiquette
Please enter the space in silence. Before speaking, ask yourself: “Is what I’m discussing deepening my dance or distracting from it?”
Our intention is to create a safe, consensual, open, fun, and playful space grounded in deep listening and awareness. We invite you to bring generosity and respect into your interactions. Consider: What am I bringing to this space? How can I support myself and others? Am I being trauma-informed in my interactions?

If anything inappropriate is witnessed or experienced, please speak with Michael or another facilitator. Your concerns will be handled confidentially and with compassion.
