 overed Contact Improvisation in 2011\, and has been dancing ever since. Sh
 e started teaching the form on in 2015 and has now led different styles of
  classes and workshops on Salt Spring Island\, in Victoria and in Nicaragu
 a. As a teacher\, Brianna is passionate about helping participants develop
  their internal attunement\, somatic awareness\, self agency\, creativity 
 and physical freedom in their bodies. Contact Improvisation has been one o
 f the most healing\, therapeutic and inspiring practices she has found in 
 her life. Brianna is a Registered Acupuncturist\, and will forever be a st
 udent of exploring what is possible in this body.\n\n\nAbout Monday Night 
 Jams\nMonday Night Jams is designed to be a welcoming space for both seaso
 ned dancers and newcomers to explore and deepen their practice of Contact 
 Improvisation.\n\n\nEntry Fee\n$10 to $20 Entry\, sliding scale - cash or 
 e-transfer. Please reach out to Michael McAmmond if finances are a barrier
  for attending.\n\n\nQuestions?\nIf you have any questions\, feel free to 
 reach out .\n\n\nEvent Etiquette\nPlease enter the space in silence. Befor
 e speaking\, ask yourself: “Is what I’m discussing deepening my dance 
 or distracting from it?”\n\nOur intention is to create a safe\, consensu
 al\, open\, fun\, and playful space grounded in deep listening and awarene
 ss. We invite you to bring generosity and respect into your interactions. 
 Consider: What am I bringing to this space? How can I support myself and o
 thers? Am I being trauma-informed in my interactions?\n\n\nSafety Policy\n
 Zero tolerance for: predatory behavior\, non-consensual touch\, sexual adv
 ances\, or any ambiguous intimate physical touch. This is not a space to p
 ursue romantic or sensual exploration.\n\nIf anything inappropriate is wit
