About the Warm-Up

Join us for a curiosity-centered warm-up led by River, an experienced facilitator with a deep passion for guiding others in the exploration of contact improvisation. With years of experience hosting jams and workshops, River brings an inviting presence, encouraging participants to move from a place of intuition and ease. This warm-up invites you to tune into your body’s natural rhythms and explore a world where each connection holds the potential for a unique universe of movement and discovery. No prior experience is needed—just come with an open heart and a willingness to follow your curiosity.

Questions?

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out 🙂.

Event Etiquette

Please enter the space in silence. Before speaking, ask yourself: “Is what I’m discussing deepening my dance or distracting from it?”

Our intention is to create a safe, consensual, open, fun, and playful space grounded in deep listening and awareness. We invite you to bring generosity and respect into your interactions. Consider: What am I bringing to this space? How can I support myself and others? Am I being trauma-informed in my interactions?

Safety Policy

Zero tolerance for: predatory behavior, non-consensual touch, sexual advances, or any ambiguous intimate physical touch. This is not a space to pursue romantic or sensual exploration.

If anything inappropriate is witnessed or experienced, please speak with Michael or another facilitator. Your concerns will be handled confidentially and with compassion.
